**About the Hotel**

The Hotel Windsor is an iconic Australian hotel embodying the architecture and elegance of a European style 'Grand Hotel', situated on Spring Street and located at the 'Paris' end of Melbourne. Our beautiful hotel is looking for a Duty Manager to join our Front Office team.

**About the role**
This position is ideal for an experienced Duty Manager who wants to work for one the most renowned Hotels in Melbourne.

In this role you will report to the Front Office Manager and work with the team in a supportive environment and professional manner.

**Duties**
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Delivering exceptional guest service to offer an unforgettable stay and guarantee guests return
- Fully responsible for the Hotel in the absence of the COO and Front Office Manager
- Respond to guest needs and address guest feedback in a timely manner to ensure maximum guest satisfaction, ensuring guest interaction is positive and productive
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of all hotel facilities and promotions
- Assisting in hotel outlets where required
- Supervise, direct and support the Front Office Team with their daily activities
- Process and assist with check-in, check-out of guests, ensuring all procedures are adhered too
- Lead by example when attending to guest requests. Be proactive and resourceful

**Skills & Experience**
- A minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent customer relation, problem solving and time management skills
- Working knowledge of a hotel property management system such as Opera and Microsoft Office suite
- Flexibility to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends and Public Holidays as per our business demands
- First Aid Certificate and Responsible Service of Alcohol for Victoria
- Unlimited work rights in Australia and be flexible to work 38 hours per week
- Highly organised, with the ability to effectively manage priorities whilst remaining calm in high pressure situations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
