As a Communications Officer, you'll need strong content creation skills for various platforms, media relations management, and the ability to handle press releases and enquiries. The role requires identifying and promoting positive stories, managing reputational risks, and proficiency in videography, photography, and graphic design to support the City’s communication strategies.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:
**Essential**
- Progression towards a tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, public relations or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Experience in developing and implementing communications plans and strategies.
- Experience in public relations, media, marketing and advertising.
