- **Up to $105,495 p.a. total salary package ($83,924 - $95,041 **+ 11% super**)**:

We now seek a suitably qualified individual to provide direction, supervision and guidance to Community Security Officers, in the provision of patrol services within the City of Melville.
- Use initiative and judgement to make effective operational decisions relating to the coordination and supervision of staff.
- Maintain accurate records of all shift activities and provide regular and timely reports as required.
- Assist and liaise with other departmental employees and Emergency Agencies in the event of a civil emergency.
- Identify, manage and resolve any performance issues as they arise, following City of Melville policies and procedures, keeping the Coordinator Community Safety Service informed at all times.
- Identify, manage and coordinate all training and development needs for staff reporting to you.
- Maintain regular contact with relevant council officers of the City to ensure they are informed of community concerns and issues, and respond to face to face and telephone inquiries from residents, government agencies and internal service areas.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- **Essential** - Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
- **Essential** - Current Police Clearance.
- **Essential** - Security Officers license issued under the Security and Related Activities (Control) Act 1996.
- **Essential** - Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- **Essential** - Certificate III in Security Operations.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and directing teams.
- Experience in preparing and providing reports.
- Previous experience in a related field
- Sound customer service skills, and effective communication skills.
- Effective conflict resolution skills.
- Effective time management skills.
