**About the Role**
We are looking for a Facilities Officer to join our Asset Strategy team.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this diverse role will see you working with teams across the organisation, providing best in class customer service and support to our Development Victoria team.
Key responsibilities include:
- oversee all office maintenance and trades work activities for our three CBD sites.
- support the Facilities Manager with management of Development Victoria owned or leased buildings, including maintenance, cleaning, security, waste removal, car parking, utilities management, fleet vehicle services and signage.
- effective control and management of security and office access.
- management of 3rd party Facilities and Property Management providers.
- develop relationships with vendors and manage the day-to-day vendor agreements to agreed Service Levels
- Perform ad hoc tasks to meet the changing needs and demands of the business (for example assistance with Reception relief).
- Promote a safety-first culture
**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**About You**
- Strong administration, organisational and time management skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills and a professional phone manner.
- Previous experience in a Facilities or Administration role within a commercial environment (preferred).
- A demonstrated knowledge of facilities and building management/maintenance practices (advantageous, but not essential).
- Excellent customer service and ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Able to create a positive work environment for employees and internal and external clients.
