Thales operates in all States of Australia, with this position based at our World Trade Centre location accommodating approximately 700 employees.

The Facilities Officer’s main duty is to support the Thales Site Management team in the Thales World Trade Centre complex with building maintenance and compliance administration, and other general activities.

This permanent position is an onsite based role.

**Some key responsibilities include**:

- The administration requirements of building compliance
- Procurement and co-ordination of building services contracts
- Liaising and supervise contractors to ensure set tasks are achieved to company's standards
- Upkeep of building maintenance records/ database and its accuracy
- On occasion manning Reception Desk, as required
- Update and maintain records for office furniture and equipment via asset management tool
- Timely response and rectification of building faults, with ongoing communication to stakeholders
- Support the day-to-day operations for the facility

**On day one you will come with**:

- Australian Citizenship (as there will be a need to obtain baseline clearance)
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of management
- Strong administration abilities with the ability to use the MS Office suite of tools.
- The ability to work on an autonomous capacity
- Any qualifications in Administration / Facilities Management (will be highly regarded but not mandatory)
- The ability to work flexible hours if required (there may be a need to either start early or finish late on occasions)
