The opportunity
An exciting new opportunity of Group People Process Improvement Lead has become available within QBE’s dynamic, progressive and employee-centric Group People team.
Reporting to the People Service Improvement Lead, this role is pivotal in supporting our global transformation agenda, and the establishment and maintenance of People business process architecture and repository across global and divisional People delivery and project teams. As a business process expert, you will also use your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of process and service management to deliver tangible improvements in the efficiency, effectiveness, and end-to-end experience of People services.
In this unique and exciting role, you will:
- Work with global stakeholders from across QBE to evolve and enhance the employee service experience through continuous improvement of People processes- Define, model and document both high-level and detailed 'As Is' and 'To Be' process maps in accordance with BPMN 2.0 standards using Sigvavio within the framework of QBE Group People Process Taxonomy- Work closely with Transformation delivery teams to support business design and change impact management activities, with focus on process excellence and how we “operationalize” the changes- Provide coaching and support to People process champions on process modelling and process improvement/re-engineering using Signavio and Lean Six-Sigma methodologies; contribute to a positive and rewarding work environment and supporting team members through change- Work in conjunction with People Digital Leads, Data & Analytics Team and QBE people to understand the Voice of Employee and the Voice of Business as it relates to service delivery, to identify and prioritise and drive service improvement opportunities and initiatives- In conjunction with the People Digital Leads and business representatives/SMES, conduct People process analysis and re-design and to identify, select, prioritize and implement Lean Six-Sigma improvement solutions to address employee pain points, removing redundancies and bottlenecks, minimizing costs and cycle time which will all contribute to creating better customer experiences for employees- Develop KPIs and dashboard to quantify and report on process improvement activity across People Services; Compile process intelligence reports on People processes using Signavio.- Support the development of our process automation capabilities with relevant strategies, frameworks and deliverables
Your story so far- 5 + Demonstrated experience in business process modelling and business process improvement- Proven expertise and extensive experience in process definition, design and mapping, including BPMN 2.0 and Signavio Products - Process Manager, Process Intelligence & Workflow Accelerator- Specialist knowledge in Lean methodology leading and enabling business process improvement/re-engineering; extensive experience in identifying, analysing and facilitating improvement initiatives to business processes, systems, workflows and customer/employee service- Demonstrated capability in conducting process analysis, value-add analysis, root-cause analysis, gap analysis and data analysis. Expert analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills- Conversant with APQC Framework and a proven track record of developing Business Process Architecture in accordance with APQC guidelines-
- Demonstrated experience in improving People operational service delivery for large organisations desirable- Experienced in managing and engaging a wide range of stakeholder groups- Ability to work well remotely within a diverse global team- Experience working on customer/employee experience transformation programs (i.e. automation and self-service initiatives) an asset
