**People**
**& Culture Consultant **to join a Council in the North East suburbs of Melbourne.
- **_7-8 Month temp contract_**:

- **Band 6 hourly rate**:

- **38 hours a week**

**Duties include**:

- Drive strategy in regards to recruitment best practice and sourcing employees and provide input into business strategies aligned with the People Strategy
- Provide analytics and advice for workforce planning strategies
- Provide guidance, support and advice to other People Business Partners and the business leaders to drive people processes (performance excellence and development) including management of IR/ER issues, investigations, end to end recruitment and positions descriptions to ensure due processes are established and followed
- Working closely with recruiting officers to provide a timely end to end recruitment service
- Research, develop and implement projects, change for organisational HR initiatives in alignment with the People Services established business objectives

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Degree in Human Resources or relevant discipline with significant experience in generalist HR management or lesser formal qualifications and extensive relevant experience
- Significant experience in a broad range of general HR functions, including end to end recruitment, ER/IR at both an operational and strategic level, preferably within a diverse multi-site organisation
- Experience in researching, developing and implementing a diverse range of HR systems, policies and procedures
- Experience in the planning and implementation of organisational change
