Are you a Lean Six Sigma leader who inspires others to think bigger, move faster, and deliver better?

It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

At Bendigo, we're transforming the way we work and we're looking for a Process Improvement Lead who can turn strategy into measurable impact.

You'll play a pivotal role in driving large-scale transformation programs and end-to-end value chain redesign across our customer divisions.

As both a hands-on Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and an inspiring leader, you'll guide a team of Black Belt practitioners to uncover opportunities, remove friction, and deliver meaningful change.

You'll work closely with senior leaders to align improvement initiatives to strategic goals and embed data-driven decision-making across the business.

This is your opportunity to shape how our bank operates, influence how our people work, and help us deliver simpler, smarter, more human banking for every customer.

If you thrive in complex environments and love seeing tangible outcomes from your work — this role offers the scope, visibility and impact you're looking for.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of complex, enterprise-wide process improvement and transformation programs.
  • Directly manage and develop a team of Black Belts embedding best-practice Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Partner with executives and stakeholders to drive customer-centred process design, aligning transformation to group strategy.

To succeed in this role, we'd love you to have:

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (essential) with proven success leading large-scale process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong capability in end-to-end value chain design, optimisation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to partner at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, particularly other Black Belts, within a continuous improvement or transformation environment.
  • Commercial acumen and a passion for simplifying complexity and improving customer experiences.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled process analytics and/or Human-Centred Design (highly regarded).

We offer flexible work options that put our people first and a hybrid model of minimum 60% on site attendance in a local Head Office.

This role is a
Full-time
role on a
12-Month, Fixed-Term Contract
based at any of our head office locations (Melbourne, Bendigo, Geelong, Ipswich, Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, Perth).
