Thriving aerospace firm on the hunt for an experienced Service Desk Analyst for an initial 6-month contract.
**Your new company**
Hays have partnered with a renowned aerospace engineering firm to appoint a Service Desk Analyst to an initial 6-month contract. With an astonishing global presence, and a good chance of this contract extending, this role will see you operating at the forefront of the IT and aerospace industries.
**Your new role**
As the Service Desk Analyst, your role will see you administering first and second line support to this organisations diverse array of staff. You'll work closely with your high-performing team, as well as management, with some of your key duties including:
- Prioritise and manage your time exceptionally, as well as prioritising and managing all service requests and incidents logged through the internal ticketing system
- Collaborate closely with your team to improve overall service processes, and make suggestions to management on what needs work
- Liaise with stakeholders of all different levels, both internal and external, to foster strong relationships between different parties and the IT team
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will be an experienced Service Desk Analyst, with demonstrated history working in an ITIL environment. You will be an engaging and warm communicator, with an uncanny knack for tailoring your technical explanations to non-technical audiences. Your attention to detail and patience are second to none, while your technical skills include:
- Excellent experience in Active Directory, the M365 suite, Windows 7 and 10 (with exposure to Amazon products and the Google Suite a massive bonus)
- Unparalleled experience in managing the ticket lifestyle in an ITIL environment: owning your tickets, and communicating with users every step of the way
- A proactive mindset and a great sense of initiative - you're always looking for ways to improve your own work, as well as the teams
- Tertiary qualifications and industry certifications will be highly regarded, but not essential
- To be considered for this role, you must possess, or be eligible to obtain, a Baseline Security Clearance._
**What you'll get in return**
Alongside working with a high-performing team that will drive your development, you'll be supported by your manager through this contract as though you were a permanent employee You'll have a good chance of extending this contract beyond the initial 6-month term, and you'll be remunerated at an hourly rate between $45 - $50/hour + superannuation.
