Operations Manager

Following our recent US $93M Series B round, we have expanded to Turkey and will be expanding to Japan and Indonesia as well.
Within Australia & New Zealand, Beam has shared e-scooter and e-bike operations across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, and in Auckland, Wellington, Whangarei, Whanganui and Palmerston North.

**We are looking for**:
An experienced Operations Manager to lead our Brisbane team. You'll take take ownership of Beam’s operations across multiple operational verticals, including charging infrastructure, fleet management, and warehouse / supply chain management

**What you'll be doing**:

- Lead a team of Operations Associates, Operations Specialists, Fleet Technicians and Marshals
- Set strategic direction and own a full roadmap of initiatives to take Beam’s operations to the next level
- Take responsibility for key operational metrics and manage a tight ship
- Innovate constantly on existing processes and products
- Identify local product needs and proactively search for new features to improve rider experience and operational efficiency
- Lead projects and manage stakeholders. You will execute different projects with varying urgency and scope
- Collaborate cross functionally with local and global teams (e.g. strategy, marketing, policy) to ensure smooth business operations as we continue to build and scale

**Skills and Experience**:

- At least 5 years of experience in environments such as management consulting, finance, and fast growing startups
- At least 1-2 years of experience in people management
- A Bachelor's degree
- Analytical mindset; you use data to support your decision making and bring sound business judgment
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude; able to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment
- Experience with creating and optimising processes
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Strong Excel skills; relevant industry and SQL experience is a bonus
