**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Administrator to join our finance and administration team. This is a key role responsible for supporting end-to-end financial administration, payroll, and business support functions to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. You will be part of a collaborative and high-performing team, contributing directly to the business’ financial integrity and operational efficiency.
**Your responsibilities**:
Payroll Administration
- Weekly timesheet and coding management
- Fortnightly payroll processing and payments (Viewpoint experience desirable)
- Compliance with FBT, Payroll Tax, and BAS obligations.
Accounts Payable
- End-to-end invoice processing and supplier payment runs
- Purchase Order management and 3-way matching
- Workflow management and supplier statement reconciliations
Systems and Banking
- Confidence in navigating banking portals and digital finance platforms
Travel and Expense Management
- Organise travel bookings and expenses
- Implementation and management of expense software (e.g., Concur)
- Liaison with external service providers
Administrative and Business Support
- Answering incoming calls and supporting general procurement
- Maintaining key registers, logs, and lists
- Championing strong internal controls across all finance and admin functions
- Providing general administrative support across the business as required
**Key Requirements**:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or substantial experience as a seasoned bookkeeper with strong financial administration capabilities
- Working knowledge of project accounting and financial operations within a project-based environment
- Proficiency with financial systems, with experience in Viewpoint Vista considered highly desirable
Exposure to ERP implementations or finance system development, with an interest in continuous process improvement
- Solid understanding of BAS, FBT, and Payroll Tax obligations and compliance
- High level of attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and support operational functions
**Location**:
This role is a full-time role, working onsite in our head office at 12 Creek Street in the Brisbane CBD.
