Enviro Sweep is a privately owned, Australian, national company and a premier provider of contract road sweeping services. Due to our growth in the sweeper market, a senior management opportunity for an Operations Manager has been created, based at our Brisbane site. Having a passion for business improvement and a high level of demonstrated strategic and managerial experience, will ensure your success. This permanent full-time position is a significant part of the leadership team and reports to the State Manager.
The Opportunity
We are looking to appoint an experienced hands-on Operations Manager who will ensure the Queensland operation is executed effectively, efficiently and profitably, and that the quality of service delivered to our clients meets or exceeds the expectations of both the customer and senior management.
They will also oversee the daily operations of the Enviro Sweep businesses in Queensland, including regional depots, and will provide leadership and direction to operational employees in regard to key deliverables, time management, and outcomes for all sites. Operating to achieve adherence to appropriate Work, Health, and Safety standards, and practises within legislative requirements will also form a part of your daily responsibilities.
The successful candidate will also have the drive and operational excellence to enhance positive culture and standards across the Group and to support the State Manager and Directors grow our business to the next phase.
What you'll bring:
- Demonstrated management experience with a 'hands on' leadership style
- Financial and Commercial acumen
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to motivate team members to reach desired outcomes
- Operate in a collaborative and professional manner with both internal and external stakeholders
- Have a strong work ethic, a keen sense of initiative and a continuous improvement approach
· Ability to implement and manage site processes and directives consistently
- Demonstrate solid planning, time management and self-management skills.
· A background in manufacturing, automotive or industrial operations is highly desirable
- Hold an MR truck licence
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment that includes Drug & Alcohol test
Salary package will be negotiated commensurate with experience.
