We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our client's procurement team. In this role, you'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives by managing supplier relationships, direct charge and inventory purchasing, overdue orders, and the coordination of rotable and repairable items.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure timely purchasing and delivery of goods and services
- Handle direct charge and inventory purchasing
- Convert service purchase orders
- Manage critical inventory re-orders and deliveries to avoid stock-outs
- Negotiate supplier transactions
- Process credit returns
- Expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery

**Skills and Experience**:

- 3+ years' experience within a similar role
- Strong experience using ERP software, Pronto (essential)
- Mining experience preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
