Purchasing Officer - Large Global Organisation

The Senior Purchasing Officer - Based in Murdoch.

Reporting to the Strategic Procurement Manager, the Senior Purchasing Officer will deliver Purchase Order transactions, resolve blocked invoices and resolve P2P issues. The role will also oversee and support the Purchasing Officer. The Senior Purchasing Officer role will ensure that Purchase Orders and Invoices are raised and paid in an accurate and timely manner.

**Duties**:

- Creation of Purchase Orders (POs):

- Support the Services in sourcing quotes, as required. Negotiate with potential suppliers for best price, quality and service
- Conduct goods receipting, invoice workflows & respond to supplier queries
- Provide training and technical support
- Support EOM Accruals
- Support the prompt payment of Subcontractors
- Resolve and reduce parked and blocked invoices
- Provide technical support and training to the Purchasing Officer on P2P issue resolution
- Work in collaboration with the Offshore Shared Service Centre
- Process One Time Vendor Payments
- Continuous Improvement.

This is a full-time salaried role based on Murdoch with easy access to public transport. The full-time salary is circa $90,000.
