**The Company**:
Established in 1985, our client is 100% Australian-owned and specialises in the manufacturing and marketing of sustainable building products and construction systems, nationally and internationally. If you have a background in administration, procurement and/ or manufacturing, we would love to hear from you.
**The Role**:
Reporting to the Factory Operations Manager, you will oversee procurement-related processes, as well as provide general administration support.
- Your duties will include:_
- Oversee procurement activities such as purchase orders, inventory control, contract negotiations, and requesting quotes from suppliers.
- Evaluate suppliers and vendors, while building and maintaining rapport to deliver ongoing value for the organisation.
- Generate daily production reports, as well as period-end stocktake reports.
- Oversee the transport activities, stocktake, and orders for a Not-For-Profit group our client partners with.
- Ad hoc administrative duties as required including updates to policies and procedures.
**About you**:
Ideally, you will have experience in a procurement role and exposure to a manufacturing environment. Proven experience within an administrative role is essential, and you must possess strong attention to detail, sound time-management skills, and excellent verbal and written communication.
