Uniden is a leader in wireless communication products, with a wide range of products, including UHF Radio, Marine Radio, Scanners, Baby monitors, etc. We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team. As a product development coordinator, you communicate with production, design, and development teams to assist with new projects, manage timelines, and complete administrative tasks.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work closely and collaboratively with the sales team and marketing team as a source of content and technical expertise.
- Conduct market pricing and competitor analysis.
- Support the R&D manager with the Roadmap.
- Evaluate and identify new product opportunities or innovations.
- Review and synthesize raw product information into quality marketing content for use in dbox/brochure/other marketing materials.
- Drive selected product development projects from idea through to launch.
- Communicate with key stakeholders (Engineer team, Management team, sales, marketing, manufacturers, designers, tester.).
- Coordinate with manufacturers for the production and shipment of each stage's samples.
- Coordinate with QC/QA and functional review of samples and prototypes.
- Product design concepts, drawings, and engineering documentation
- Working efficiently with 3rd party designers/engineers, manufacturers, or Head Quarter engineer team to develop new product designs/drawings, improve existing products, or rectify problems/challenges with existing products or components.
- Always consider production efficiency where possible to reduce unit cost.
- Prepare the Owner manual, label, and all other related materials, including technical documents and spare parts.
- Assure all products meet Australian Standards.
- Establish a working relationship with a related agent or test Lab and ensure compliance with all standards.
- Coordinate action required to address non-compliance issues. Work with the engineering team to fix it.
- Monitoring and reporting progress through to completion
- Assist the BI team in conducting buyer inspections on the manufacturing side.
- Support the QC team to Implement periodic QC checking processes for products upon arrival in Australia.
- Provide sales spec and technical documents to the Technician team.
- Provide new product training to the sales team, customer service team,
- Provide BOM file to spare parts team.
- Support internal product information requirements.
- Provide product package information to the logistic team.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- +3 years’ experience in UHF Radio, CB Radios, or Marine Radios.
- Background and knowledge in telecommunication devices and industry.
- Familiar with using Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop.
- Familiar with Related Australian Radio requirement
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Have some experience in technical writer.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
