URGENT HIRING - Support Coordinator/Psychosocial Recovery Coach in Liverpool

At National Disability and Mental Health Services (NDMHS), we're passionate about empowering people to live life on their own terms. Our team works alongside individuals living with disability or psychosocial challenges to support independence, build capacity, and connect with the community.

We specialise in NDIS Support Coordination and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, delivering services that promote choice, control, and long-term independence.

We're expanding our team and are looking for a passionate Support Coordinator / Recovery Coach to join us in Liverpool, NSW.

This is a part-time role (4 days/week) with the potential to move into a full-time position as we grow. You'll work under the supervision of a Senior Support Coordinator and be supported by a collaborative and friendly team.

What You'll Do:

  • Build strong, respectful relationships with participants, families, and service providers
  • Help participants understand and implement their NDIS plans
  • Connect participants with relevant services (mainstream, community, specialist)
  • Create and monitor strengths-based recovery plans
  • Provide advocacy and support for navigating the NDIS system
  • Track participant progress and maintain accurate case notes
  • Navigate service challenges and advocate for better outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services, Mental Health, Peer Work, or related field
  • Minimum 6–12 months relevant experience in NDIS or psychosocial support roles
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and recovery-oriented practice
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
  • Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check, and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
