**_About Them_**
Our client is a medium sized residential, commercial and mix-use builder. Delivering projects for both public and private sector clients ranging from $15M up to $150M.
**_Purpose of role_**
As Team and Talent Coordinator you will provide support in coordinating and administering all aspects of Team and Talent related activities to ensure that staff are learning, growing, adding value and excelling in their roles. This will include developing tailored training and development programs for staff, policy maintenance and development, recruitment strategy, learning and development, individualised and group training, performance management and onboarding and off boarding.
The focus of the role is the coordination and execution of the operational and administrative delivery of the end-to-end Team and Talent function and collaborates with business leaders to identify ways to continuously improve employee performance and build capability that is aligned to current and future organizational and customer needs. This role partners with the business to engage, consult and coordinate team leaders to deliver innovative people solutions that are rewarding for all.
**_Your Day to Day_**
- Cocreate initiatives to make sure everyone in the business is known with our Brand and Communications Team
- Support the team members in their career pathways within business in collaboration with their Managers.
- Help develop tailor made Professional Development Pathways so each nominated team member can be the best version of themselves.
- Facilitate our Cadet pathways within the business so they can be leaders in their own space.
- Create Connections for the business when looking for the best talent to come out of Universities and Tafe NSW
- Make sure every onboarding of any new staff member is a delightful experience.
- Assign a company Buddy to all new employees in collaboration with the Management Team.
- Support managers and coordinate the recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, and off-boarding functions of the business.
- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Team and Talent system to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation across all staff.
- Preparation of all contracts and correspondence in relation to the full employment cycle and ensure all relevant legislative compliance
- Lead, execute and administer the induction and onboarding processes including all IT needs for any new team member
- Coordinating, administering, participate and support all recruitment & selection activity
- Further the company rollout, Coordinate staff development program and in particular training and mentorship activities
- Coordinate all team reviews and administer the probationary period
- Update Project organisational charts Monthly.
- Coordinate and manage the annual staff survey.
- Coordinate any initiatives being led by the Brand and communication manger in particular people and culture.
- Assisting in the development, co-ordination, and implementation of Learning & Development activity across both internal and external and identifying and liaising with external consultants and training bodies as required.
- Developing and co-ordinating and reviewing employee-related programs, such as apprenticeships, cadetships, work experience and internships
- Lead the rollout and training of the HRIS (company Hub -Elmo, or any other agreed software) and any other Team and Talent policy, project, or program as required.
- Assist the General Manager to provide guidance and support on all aspects of team and talent.
- Lead and contribute to the development and review of Talent and Team Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure the quality and compliance of all Team and Talent records and documentation with appropriate storage considering Privacy legislation.
- Coordinating Staff reviews including scheduled mid-year check-in and end-of-year performance reviews. Collating actions and agreements from reviews into staff development program
- Support the Executive Management Team as culture office champion and in doing so takes steps to ensure the office space has a positive work environment.
- Prepare monthly workforce reporting on all relevant activity to the General Manager
**_You'll Need_**
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration or Human resources or related business field
- 5+ years’ experience in a Team and talent related role
- Demonstrated ability in coordination and administration of activities and tasks.
- Understanding of local, state and national employment laws
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong understanding of People Management Systems
