**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- As Council’s Co-ordinator Business Development you will build and expand relationships with strategically important government and business stakeholders. You will deliver Council’s 10 year Economic Development Strategy to enhance the commercial and economic development opportunities arising for the Liverpool Local Government Area (LGA), including key Commonwealth Government, NSW Government and private sector stakeholders. In addition, the Coordinator Business Development will manage, lead and provide operational direction to a small team to ensure key business development outcomes for Council are delivered.
**ABOUT YOU**
- The successful applicant will have:
- Current Class C NSW Driver's Licence
- Tertiary qualifications in project management and/or business development or a relevant field
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Experience in influencing the direction of externally operated projects.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering stakeholder consultation and needs analyses.
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse stakeholders including business, private sector interest groups, government agencies and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
- Extensive years of experience in leading teams to deliver business outcomes
