**The Organisation**

Our client is an Australian privately owned company experiencing an exciting growth phase on an international scale. Within the international trade and development sector, this organisation is going from strength to strength and require the skills of an experienced Payroll Manager to join their fast-paced team. With excellent staff benefits, and flexible working arrangements on offer, this role will be an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager looking for their next challenge.

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role has 1 direct report with key tasks involving:

- Provide a high level of current technical understanding to support and advise on payroll implementation and workflow methodology
- Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all weekly, fortnightly and monthly Payroll
- Maintain a well-developed understanding of and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policy frameworks (including awards and Enterprise Agreement reviews)
- Internal stakeholder reporting as required
- Driving continuous improvements and efficiencies across the payroll function
- Other ad-hoc duties as required

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Manager position along with the following skills and attributes:

- Previous experience in full function Payroll processing
- Proven experience interpreting complex EBAs and Awards
- Understanding of payroll system implementation
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience working in a medium to large organisation
- Proven process improvement initiatives
