Reporting into the Accounts Payable Team Lead, this is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, aspiring and solutions focused Accounts Payable professional to join our ever growing and well-loved family business. Your responsibilities in this role, include but are not limited to:
**About the role**:
Located at our Preston Head Office, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and processing all Accounts Payable transactions with precision and efficiency. Working alongside a collaborative team, your main responsibilities will include:
- Processing end-of-month (EOM) payments, ensuring compliance with trading terms for both domestic and international transactions.
- Managing ad hoc payments and payment requests as needed.
- Reviewing and authorizing vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Conducting statement reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Preparing and reviewing the monthly clearing report.
- Handling ad hoc requests and additional tasks as required by the finance team.

- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Demonstrated respect for colleagues and a collaborative approach in the workplace.
