**The Organisation**
Our client is renowned for being a market leader in the wholesale industry, with a successful presence as a multi-million dollar organisation. With a strong commitment to developing a positive culture within the business, the business are currently seeking an ambitious Accounts Payable Officer to immediately join their finance team and hit the ground running. This is a great role for a motivated and experienced individual to start their next challenge ASAP, close to home in Preston with work from home flexibilities.

**Position Description**
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

- High volume processing of invoices
- Processing payment runs
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Manage staff reimbursements
- Management of relationships with suppliers and handling queries
- Various reporting duties
- Be involved in and support AP automation projects
- Ad hoc tasks to assist the broader finance team as required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to hit the ground running and confidently work autonomously
- Exceptional time management skills and a positive can do attitude
- High attention to detail with an ability to prioritise own work
