Accounts Receivable Officer – NDIS SIL Specialist

Location: Hybrid – Victoria

Employment Type: Part-Time (negotiable)

Equisent Disability Services trading as Equal Living is a fast growing NDIS provider specialising in Supported Independent Living (SIL), Supported Disability Accommodation (SDA), Short and Medium-Term Accommodation (STA/MTA), and Community Participation (CP), looking after 30+ participants. We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer with specific expertise in NDIS finance and plan management billing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full NDIS accounts receivable cycle for SIL and related service streams with our existing finance officer.
  • Prepare, submit, and reconcile invoices through PRODA and PACE portals.
  • Liaise with Plan Managers, Support Coordinators, and internal teams to ensure timely payment of participant invoices.
  • Track and follow up overdue or delinquent invoices from external plan managers and funding bodies.
  • Maintain an up-to-date ledger of receivables and generate aged debtors reports.
  • Verify line items and claims across SIL, SDA, STA/MTA, and CP service categories in line with NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader finance team to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with NDIS claim requirements.
  • Support the continuous improvement of billing and reconciliation processes.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in NDIS accounts receivable, plan management, or financial operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of PRODA and PACE systems.
  • Deep understanding of NDIS line item codes and pricing structures, particularly SIL, SDA, STA/MTA, and CP.
  • Proven ability to collect and reconcile payments from plan managers and funding intermediaries.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Accounting qualifications (Certificate IV, Degree, or CPA/CA accreditation) highly regarded.
