What You'll Do

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with AASB standards
  • Support accounts payable/receivable, ensuring accuracy and on-time processing
  • Perform bank, intercompany and general ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journals, accruals and WIP adjustments
  • Prepare and lodge BAS/GST and other compliance reports
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, delivering insights to management
  • Enable continuous improvement in processes, controls and systems; document SOPs
  • Collaborate with project, procurement and payroll teams to ensure smooth financial operations

What You'll Bring

  • CPA qualified (or near completion)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, AASB standards and Australian tax laws
  • Skilled in ERP/accounting systems and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in construction, infrastructure or project-based accounting highly regarded
