**Your new company**

This high-profile Federal Government Department is seeking APS5 and APS6 Policy and Project Officers to join one of their Division’s due to an increase in workload. The Division is the forefront of providing high-quality policy advice to support the Government’s workplace relations agenda.

**Your new role**

The work of the Division is diverse and interesting. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Big-picture reforms to address complex issues and emerging forms of work.
- Developing the Government submission for an Annual Review.
- Leading international policy statements on behalf of Asia Pacific countries.
- Working with Government and with industry stakeholders on identifying opportunities for regulatory technologies to improve the usability of the workplace relations system, developing and advising on legislation
- Monitoring and participating in major cases and,
- Developing and implementing initiatives to support the way the Group works, including implementing a Project Management Toolbox, embedding collaborative practices, enhancing the work with research and a strong evidence-base, and communications

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in these positions, you will have previous experience in a similar position and the Federal Government. You will also have strong analytical skills, the ability to explain complex concepts, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Experience in policy development and/or workplace relations will be highly regarded.

To be considered for this role, you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
