APS5 & APS6 Program Support Officer (2 positions) | Canberra - ACT | Contract Duration: 6 months (with options to extend) | AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance is required on application

Our client is a prominent government department dedicated to enhancing Australia's role in international development. They are currently launching a strategic procurement initiative that will significantly impact their operations and the communities they serve globally.

About the Role

As a Program Support Officer, you will be involved in high-level administrative tasks and coordination efforts to facilitate the successful development and implementation of procurement activities. Your contributions will help ensure streamlined processes and effective stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct documentation and data entry to support procurement activities.
  • Monitor stakeholder communications, ensuring timely responses.
  • Assist in compliance checks, evaluation processes, and contract negotiations.
  • Facilitate the development of user guidance and process improvement documentation.
  • Support communications activities and maintain project schedules.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • High attention to detail with a proven track record in compliance and documentation.
  • Experience managing workflows and shared inboxes effectively.
  • Familiarity with government procurement practices is desirable.
Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications are preferred (e.g., business, project management).
  • Prior experience in administrative or program support roles, particularly within government settings.
Eligibility
  • Must hold a minimum NV1 security clearance.
  • Availability to work 37.5 hours per week on-site at the Canberra location.
