**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Change Coordinator to join us join us at our Cheltenham manufacturing plant. This role is primarily responsible for the successful maintenance & nurturing of the Fletcher Building Operations Excellence Program, which includes the delivery of continuous improvement methodology.

In addition, the role is a support person for the Manufacturing and Support Services team’s problem solving & troubleshooting activities as well as the implementation of the contemporary Laminex Manufacturing Systems Development.

**Key focuses & responsibilities will include**:
Reporting to the Support Services Manager, you will support the despatch functions within our large warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Support the Planning & Organising of the Operations Excellence Program
- Coordination of the Operations Excellence and Training & Development Steering groups
- Support as a ‘key user’ for the implementation of the contemporary Laminex Manufacturing Systems Development (MES - Lighthouse).
- Support the Manufacturing Excellence program as one of the site CI Champions providing training & refreshing of the continuous improvement tools
- The establishment and maintenance of a methodology for the creation, implementation, maintenance and review of documentation relating to the operational systems & processes across the site

**About You**

We are after the following experience, skills & traits:

- Operational and process knowledge in particleboard manufacturing.
- Sound knowledge of HPL and Compact manufacturing process.
- Exposure to computer-based production recording and maintenance planning systems.
- Ideally from an operational or plant maintenance background.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement tools.
- Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Base knowledge of document control and quality assurance principals.
- Experience conducting internal audits.
- Exposure and repeated experience of computer-based production recording and maintenance planning systems.
