We are looking for a Rostering Coordinator to join our dedicated team in providing quality client service and efficient workforce scheduling.
As a Rostering Coordinator your role will focus on supporting staff as their first line of contact and interacting with clients or their representatives. You will be responsible for ensuring that all shifts are filled in a professional, accurate, and timely manner which is vital for a positive client experience and service delivery.
Here, Rostering Coordinators work with the Rostering Manager and Care Consultants to match individual clients and their identified needs with appropriately skilled and qualified support workers to support clients to exercise choice and independence.
· Develop, maintain and manage staff/client rosters.
· Ensure rosters are cost-effective, the best skill match, compliant with regulatory requirements and meet service delivery standards.
· Monitor staff availability and manage last minute changes, including organizing cover for emergencies, cancellations and unplanned sick leave.
· Provide administrative support and reporting related to workforce management.
· Maintain client and staff records including obtaining feedback for continuous improvement.
· Provide clear information and direction to support workers in relation to services and supports.
· Contribute to organizational risk management within scope of role.
Qualification in a health/community related discipline.
Previous experience with rostering/scheduling.
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to converse with individuals of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Effective organizational skills including accurate and professional documentation.
Proficiency in rostering systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
A team player with a problem-solving attitude.
