**THE ROLE**

The Strategic Bids Manager position is critical in enabling Origin Zero to realise its mission of leading the transition to net zero by partnering with business customers to achieve their sustainable energy goals.

This position is responsible for designing, implementing and managing a seamless end to end strategic sales process that delivers high quality, innovative solution-focused bids to existing and prospective Origin Zero customers.

This role will also be responsible for:

- Growth and development of sales pipelines through the enablement of the bid response process.
- Aligning solutions to meet customer requirements whilst ensuring margin and volume targets are met.
- Responding to all bids in a timely manner, including managing the bid team to meet key submission dates.
- Identifying compliance and execution risk through bid response.
- Ensuring bid knowledge database is maintained and content is fit for purpose.
- Crafting exceptional end-to-end bid responses by integrating and synthesising information gathered from various organisational sources.
- Guaranteeing that all bid specifications are responded to and executing thorough quality assurance procedures for the submission of bid documentation.

**IS THIS YOU?**

You will have:

- Experience in bid response or technical selling
- Thorough understanding of the procurement process
- Exceptional ability to synthesis complex information to create a compelling narrative
- Exemplary technical skills & strong business/commercial acumen
- Understanding of financial principles, including (P&L’s, ROI and NPVs) to explain how solutions can add value to the customer’s business
- Professional Services, Consulting or Engineering background will be looked upon favourably
- Bid writing/management experience in the energy market specifically highly regarded
