This highly rewarding role will give you an insight into so many difference areas of our business - from Sales and Delivery through to Legal, Finance and Operations. You’ll be responsible for managing the proposal development activities. You’ll have a high-degree of trust and autonomy to get the job done. **Day-to-day, you will**:
- Be responsible for managing Avanade Australia’s bid management function, helping to shape and define our bid strategy to respond to complex and large bids for IT service solutions, process design consulting or manufacturing services.
- Manage the preparation of bids, proposal content, conformance to Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, customer liaison and business partner/vendor coordination.
- Manage and advise the bid submission process from initial contact through to contract signing; placing particular emphasis on establishing the trading terms, validating/endorsing the technical solution.
- Create, manage, and maintain a proposal development schedule, consistent processes, training and set of tools, proposal designs and execution quality control functions.
- Maintain visibility to ongoing bids and a solid plan for tracking past work
**Your technical and non-technical skills will likely include**:
- Leading bid management strategies, with strong track record of managing complex bids, for large companies and/or divisions.
- Ability to demonstrate/or gain a high level of understanding of Avanade solutions, Microsoft products and technology services and Avanade as well as Accenture industry solutions.
- Solid understanding of the concepts around Microsoft technologies.
- Strong customer interface and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and project management skills
You’ll likely have 6+ years of relevant experience in consulting and/or bid and proposal management, with 2+ years of experience focusing on bid management.
