- Position Summary
- The Partnerships Manager role is a mid-senior level role part of Matterkind’s Partnerships & Investments team and responsibilities lie within managing all Matterkind’s media and tech partner relationships, ensuring the Matterkind team has access to the best tech and inventory opportunities in market at a negotiated price point.
In this role, you will work with several different stakeholders to build, maintain, and nurture successful relationships, aiming to benefit Matterkind clients whilst enhancing and complimenting its overall product offering.
- Key Responsibilities
- As a Partnerships Manager, you are firmly entrenched in the needs of our agency partners and clients as well as the commercial structure of Matterkind, you understand the business needs across tech, data and product and are always on the look out to improve the way we do things and harness the opportunities with most potential.
You will build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and you will be able to objectively navigate different demands to ensure we are implementing solutions that both meet our agency partners needs and are commercially efficient to Matterkind.

You are an autonomous self-starter who loves to network and build relationships. You are proactive and driven towards finding solutions for your team members.

You will provide feedback to our partners to ensure we maintain successful and honest relationships. It will also be this important for you to ensure that the Matterkind team is well informed about each partner’s offering to deliver the best results for their clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Assisting the Activations team in brief responses where standard or bespoke publisher solutions are required. You will support our teams providing competitive solutions to our agency partners.
- Act as the conduit between Matterkind’s Activation team and our Publisher Partners to support the Partnerships Associate Director with building solutions that meet our client’s needs and are commercially efficient for Matterkind
- Build and nurture relationships with our publishers, SSPs and DSPs partners to ensure Matterkind is offered solutions which are best in market
- Work with the Partnerships Associate Director on initiatives such as SPO, theme-based marketplace, MIE partner storefront, Channel investment management; to ensure roll-out, adoption and success of these strategies. This includes proactively presenting these solutions to agencies and activation teams
- Occasional management of private marketplace deals between Matterkind and publishers. This is inclusive of in-platform set up, performance and spend volume monitoring.
- Ensuring the hygiene of any trading service agreement is maintained.
- Assist the Partnership Associate Director with reporting and marketplace insights management when required.
- Desired Skills & Experience
- You are a veteran within the digital world with experience leveraging cutting edge technologies for delivering best in class digital solutions for advertisers. Having worked with a large variety of vendors you have basic knowledge of how to utilise several tech platforms. You have an understanding of how the digital marketplace works and an in-depth knowledge of the different media vendors in the ANZ market.
You are proactive and eager, and you are not afraid of getting your hands dirty by being involved in multiple aspects of the business. You prefer to win in a team than win on your own because shared glory is better than standing on the podium alone.
- You will hold a degree (most probably surrounding Marketing and Communication)
- Ideally 3+ years of relevant professional experience within Digital Advertising
- Proven experience in Campaign Management through a variety of different platforms
- Experience in working with different size teams to deliver an outcome
- You are very approachable and have a strong ability to build meaningful relationships.
