**Your new role**

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for receiving and reviewing incoming invoices, distributing them to the correct department for payment approval, and entering them into the Company's accounting system while ensuring accuracy and timely processing of vendor invoices for payment.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Process invoices from multiple vendors
- Enter all vouchers into the accounts payable accounting system for batching and payment processing.
- Assist in monthly closings
- Code invoices to the general ledger accounts
- Process payments obtaining appropriate signature(s)
- Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
- Manage the integrity of information contained in the accounts payable database and files so that information is retrievable for departments, and intact for the annual audit

**What you'll need to succeed**

**Required Education / Experience / Skills**:

- Demonstrated experience in accounts payable
- Strong verbal communication skills needed to articulate information in a clear and concise manner
- Excellent listening skills in order to interpret what you hear and provide the right answer
- Ability to solve complex problems through research and understanding
- Ability to work in a team environment, providing support for others.
- Create and maintain a positive, collaborative working environment and strong working relationships with colleagues
- Strong attention to detail, understanding the risk of missing important and/or relevant information
- Strong computer skills required to manage and maintain data in software systems
