**The Company**

My client, a globally recognized manufacturer of electric motors, electrical components, and power transmission products, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Newcastle, NSW. The company's products and solutions serve customers across various industries and have a significant impact on our daily lives, enabling the fans in HVAC systems, powering smart buildings, providing food and beverage equipment, and maintaining e-commerce operations.

As the Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will report to the Manager II, Finance and play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of vendor invoices for payment. You will have the opportunity to join a team committed to creating innovative solutions while focused on both customer needs and sustainability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process invoices from multiple vendors and reconcile purchasing orders.
- Enter vouchers into the accounts payable accounting system for payment processing.
- Obtain approval from departments for invoices and process payments with appropriate signatures.
- Maintain and update the accounts payable database and files.
- Provide support to auditors during the annual audit.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience.
- Strong verbal and listening skills.
- Ability to solve problems through research and understanding.
- Strong attention to detail and computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under time pressures and changing priorities.
