**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Senior Accounts Officer, the Accounts Assistant will assist with accounting and clerical tasks to ensure the efficiency accounts payable and payroll functions. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity and will be based in Thornton, NSW.

This role will also require you to:

- Process corporate credit card, petty cash transactions and domestic freight invoices.
- Code and process AP invoices via Redmap and resolve any invoice discrepancies.
- Conduct payroll administrative tasks including entering time sheets, creating reports and setting up new starters.
- Assist in month-end closing.
- 2+ years’ experience in an Accounts position or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
- Proven experience across both Accounts Payable and Receivable would be ideal.
- Knowledge of PRONTO ERP and Redmap Accounts Payable tool would be an advantage but not necessary.
- Exposure to Payroll with some understanding of the entire payroll process would be advantage but not necessary.
- Valid Australian working rights.
