**Rostering and Administration Officer**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

An exciting opportunity exists for a caring and team-orientated Rostering & Administration Officer to join the team to be the friendly coordinator of our rostering for internal staff and agency. You also provide administrative support to all areas of the residence. You will recognise that no two days are the same in aged care.

You will work in a team with another Receptionist/Administrator to assist with the administration tasks across the residence, including rostering, onboarding, preparation of timesheets for payroll, client services administration and general office duties.

**To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications**:

- Experience in an on-line rostering tool
- Strong understanding of rostering prinicples and management of overtime and fair shift allocation processes
- Experience in the management of HR records and employee onboarding and leaving processes
- Commitment to delivering an exceptional level of customer service
- Strong verbal, written, and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent personal presentation, outgoing and approachable personality
- Willing to learn and be flexible
- Able to work across a number of databases when trained
- Good multi-tasking and prioritisation skills
- A professional and personable telephone manner
- Able to work individually and as part of a team
- Be vaccinated for Influenza and COVID-19 (including Booster)
- Cert III in Business Administration, HR, Customer Service or equivalent qualification/experience (desirable)
- Experience working in Aged Care/Community Care or in a retail or Hospitality environment (desirable)

**Salary**: $48,973.71 - $80,761.06 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Administration: 1 year (preferred)
