**The Company**

Our client is a global organisation, founded in Australia almost 35 years ago who specialise in state of the art technology used to improve safety and productivity to their clients who operate in the underground mining and tunnelling industry.

They incorporate hardware and software product development, production, sales, project management and customer aftercare including support and maintenance on site to ensure the quality of their service is as high as possible.

They are currently looking for an Operations Manager to take accountability for Field Operations and Service Support Centres based from Brisbane.

**The Role**
- The role leads and coordinates teams to ensure work activities are executed per scope of work.
- It is responsible for managing all labour and product deployment, ensuring all equipment is properly installed and tested.
- The role manages the regional support centres as well as the Brisbane service centre which manages the centralised hardware customer build, repair and service function.

**The Person**
- We are looking for a professional with experience in operations-commercial management within the mining industry.
- Ability to negotiate, persuade and influence prospective customers.
- Previous experience in a field communications technical/project role with team leader/supervisory experience.
- Knowledge and abilities in project management, continuous improvement processes, quality assurance etc.
- Strong knowledge of mine processing, communications and controls.
- Highly developed problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
