**Operations Manager**

Based in the
**Newcastle NSW region**, and reporting to the CEO the Operations Manager role is an integral part of the Tomago Aluminum executive management team and will be accountable for providing leadership and strategic direction for all department activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational performance.
- Manage and lead the operations team to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyse production and performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-10 years of senior leadership experience in a large manufacturing facility
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
