Our client is an outcome-focused, quality-driven, registered training organisation (RTO) offers a range of vocational courses to international and domestic students. They are seeking an experienced full-time, fixed term Student Administration & Admissions Officer (experienced in the SMS VETtrak). You will work as part of a small but highly efficient team responsible for all student administration - admissions and enrolment to completion.

Some of your responsibilities include:

- processing international completions, withdrawals, deferments, suspensions and variations - receiving and processing student assessments
- the maintenance and compliance of student records in VETtrak and Intrinsiq
- identification of non-compliances and action rectification, and follow up
- implement rectification plans for non-compliances to ensure lodgement timelines and targets are met
- creating, maintaining and archiving student files as per contractual and regulatory requirements About you

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

- experience in a similar role (VETtrak experience essential) - understanding of the international student market (the ESOS Act, ESOS Framework, PRISMS and CRICOS & ELICOS) and the Australian VET system
- knowledge of Skills First VET Funding Contract, Standards for RTOs 2015, ESOS and AVETMISS requirements (desired, but not essential)
- outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with students and peers from diverse cultural backgrounds and work as a team member, and work autonomously
- the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines - excellent problem solving and organisational skills
