The Payroll Implementation Manager is responsible for ensuring the new Payroll and Time and Attendance solution (Structure, technology, information and process) meets the future needs and legislative requirements for Thales Australia.
This critical role forms part of the Care+ program to implement a solution that ensure compliance to our Enterprise Agreement and Fair Work Act requirements. Working with the program director and project manager you will ensure compliance with government regulations, establishing and implementing new processes and support the seamless implementation of the solutions.
**KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
As the Payroll Implementation Manager, you are accountable for:
- Support the program to finalise selection of the appropriate solution
- Working with the project manager and project team to ensure the solution meets Thales requirements for Payroll and Time & Attendance
- Ensuring that solution design is compliant, documented and signed off
- Ensure appropriate testing is defined, completed and passed
- Develop new process to support the new system (and any other impacted systems)
- Support the change program to implement any changes and upskill payroll
**KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience
- Strong Australian payroll, superannuation and tax legislation
- Strong track record in end to end implementations across a diverse range of clients using well known technologies in Australia (Payroll and Time & attendance)
- Experience in HR transformation HR & Payroll system and process design, system implementation
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and supporting people
- Pragmatic and proven approach to problem-solving and strong decision-making skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with a strong ability to develop and maintain customer
- Ability to influence, negotiate and to promote organisational processes and culture
- High levels of resilience under pressure with adaptability to changing business practices
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with an excellent telephone manner and ability to articulate accurate advice
