We’re looking for a Sydney-based **Payroll Operations Lead** to join our Payroll and Finance Team

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Effectively manage high volume end-to-end fortnightly payroll function
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers and supervise an offshore payroll team
- Provide quick, accurate data entry aligned with Award provisions
- Create and customize Payroll reports within the Payroll & HR systems
- Support the Payroll Manager with Internal & External Audit requirements
- Assist in the design, implementation and stability of Payroll system & process enhancements for all payrolls and associated interfaces including updates.

**Key requirements**:

- **Immediate availability**:

- **2-5 years’ experience **working in payroll with a medium to large organization
- Thorough understanding of **Australian payroll and related legislation**:

- Excellent **time management** skills and accuracy
- **Collaborative** mindset and ability to work professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail, accuracy, **proficiency in MS office particularly Excel,** exceptional communication and a passion for payroll are essential for this role.
