APAC Regional Logistics Manager
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
Lead all activities related to Customer Logistics operations of Maxeon in the Asia Pacific region: warehousing and transportation - last mile delivery and linehaul transportation between warehouse locations, delivering Logistics solutions to Project sites
This includes management of team members based in the Philippines and the 3rd Party warehouse and transport providers in Australia and Japan, to deliver products to customers at the best cost and quality with the effective planning, in compliance with all safety, tax and legal requirements.
This position reports to the Director of Operations & Customer Care, Asia Pacific.
**KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Optimize APAC Distribution Network
Design and constantly adapt the most optimal Customer Operations Service delivery to support:
Safety performance
Sales targets
Service level (OTD)
Vendor performance & delivery
Inventory management
Cost objectives (Logistics budget owner)
Quality objectives (CPMU)
Issue resolution
Identify best in class vendors/partners. Lead monthly performance calls, opportunities for improvement and forward-looking activities with vendors.
Manage Customer Operations Logistics KPI and lead action plans
Ensure compliance to SOX, specs and any other regulatory requirements relative to international freight, warehouse and transportation including Environmental, Health and Safety, Social responsibility
Implement distribution setup for new products, new channels and markets including but not limited to Incoterms, warehousing, transportation and distribution strategy.
**Lead the Continuous Improvement of our Services**:
In a very constrained and competitive market, develop/maintain strategies to deliver cost reduction in Logistics Operations
Strong coordination with Partner Support Representatives, Planning, Sales & Global Supply Chain teams to ensure timely supply to meet customers’ expectations whilst delivering the best cost solution
Drive simplification, standardization and efficiency improvements - Lean management
Project management of tools to improve the efficiency. Continue the digitalization of warehouse & transport management systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, EDI/API)
Develop, implement, and maintain Operational policies and procedures to deliver a Quality Service Delivery solution - focused on reduced costs, streamline procedures and Continuous improvement.
Work with global and regional peers for opportunities of standardization of processes and tools and share best practices
Management
Demonstrate leadership in building a strong team that embraces and delivers to the Maxeon values and inspiring others in team to do the same
Prepare and delivers performance reviews, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Develop mutually agreed Individual Development Plans (IDP) for each team member
Work externally and internally with cross functional teams to ensure that decisions are reached through effective collaboration.
Engage in recruitment to hire skilled professionals and build a high performing team
**Skills and Attributes**:
5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Management
Hands-on experience in Logistics in a high-volume dynamic product sales industry
Demonstrated experience in Operational Service delivery/management
Vendor management (3PL) - Service delivery, performance, process improvement and problem resolution
**Excellent oral and written communication skills**: ability to develop and deliver clear & concise messaging, presentations to management and other cross-functional teams
People management - proven people leader through collaborative engagement. Ability to work in a multicultural environment with team members and stakeholders in multiple locations globally.
Strong analytical skills in assessing operational performance
Problem solving skills (RCA, 3WI & 5 Whys) to resolve common and complex operational issues
Project management delivery - ability to engage cross functional teams in various locations to deliver to the project objectives
Ability to work collaboratively within all levels of the organization (cross-functional engagement)
LEAN Supply Chain certification is a plus
**Experience and Requirements**:
BA/BS or equivalent experience required.
5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain
