**About our role**:
In this newly created and diverse role, you will lead our payroll and timekeeping policy for delivery of all Simplot owned entities within the Australian Pacific Region. This will include Australia, NZ, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, India, and oversight of China.

The role of the Regional Payroll Manager APAC is to provide payroll services to customers across the region and to provide a strategic and professional capability to support regional leaders in delivery of their business objectives. This exciting role will report directly to the Global Payroll Manager working closely with the HR and Finance teams to ensure full governance of pay processes.

**What will you do**:

- Oversee and advise on procedural controls, risk, and governance as it pertains to administrative input to Payroll in the APAC Region
- Deliver a seamless end to end process flow for all payroll processes including all inputs such as employment agreements, time, leave, disability and ensuring appropriate outputs such as retirement provisions and relevant tax calculations
- Escalation point for all payroll enquiries enabling best solution for troubleshooting through coaching and mentoring of customers and team members
- Drive continuous improvement across all areas leading to a more aligned integrated approach allowing for improved resource utilization and coverage across the global payroll team
- Maintain strong change management processes, stakeholder and customer engagement to ensure quality delivery of services and guidance

**About you**:

- Significant Payroll Management and Leadership experience
- Change Methodology a plus
- Payroll Training/Certifications in respective countries ideal
- You will have certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Demonstrated understanding of financial information systems, JDE/SAP preferred
- Sound payroll knowledge and attention to detail whilst seeing the big picture
- Ability to understand and communicate complex issues
- People management and team building experience
- Ideally experience with ADP, Success Factors, UKG Software
- Growth mindset
