What will your day look like?
**This Small Business Lending Specialist is accountable for**:

- Actioning incoming calls and digital opportunities by conducting needs-based conversations
- Providing tailored solutions and recommendations to fulfill a customer’s end-to-end requirements
- Taking ownership of customer issues, resolving them and recording discussions for future reference
- Identifying additional customer needs and referring the customer to an appropriate channel
- Collaborating with the team to contribute to a high-performance culture

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

- Ability to support customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services, and providing considered options, that meet those needs.
- Managing a process end-to-end to achieve a customer outcome.
- Knowledge of small business operations, transaction banking and working capital solutions.
- Proficiency in credit assessment and management.
- Ability to identify and pursue new commercial opportunities
- Knowledge of financial terminology, financial statements (such as Profit and Loss, balance sheets and cashflow statements) and the principles behind financing
- Knowledge of lending and cashflow needs and solutions
