
Accounts Administration Officer

Our Client is a leading Australian insurance specialist who have been established over 30 years. They offer a professional and friendly team culture based out of stunning North Sydney offices with amazing harbour views along with opportunities to grow your corporate career.
This role is responsible for the timely, efficient and effective processing of received funds to be applied to insurance policies. Full training will be provided in the specific duties which will include:
- Daily receipting of payments
- Reconciling accounts
- Identifying unapplied payments to ensure these are processed
- Liaising with brokers to discuss any discrepancies and oustanding payments
- Bi-monthly processing of a large multinational broker remittance (up to 400 invoices on the one remittance - this is in Excel so Excel min. intermediate skills required)
- Generating weekly and monthly reports
- Processing cancellations
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Minimum 3 years experience in an office environment, ideally in a role encompassing some accounts or other Excel work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and good data entry skills
- The ability to work autonomously
- Good commuter skills (incl. Excel)
The is a permanent full time office based position with a salary guide of $65,000 - $70,000 + Super and standard hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm. The offices are brand new located in North Sydney (close to public transport). Whilst regular work from home days are not offered, occasional / ad-hoc WFH is fine.
