About the Company

Our client is one of the most professional strata management companies in Sydney's Northern Suburbs. As a team passionate about strata management and dedicated to providing outstanding service, they are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting & Administration Officer to support their dynamic team.

About you

The ideal candidate is well-organised, a strong team player, and capable of managing both financial and administrative tasks with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and assist in the preparation of financial statements
  • Manage trust accounts and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Perform general office administration and maintain organised records
  • Liaise professionally with clients, owners, and team members
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the team as required

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and office administration
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of trust account management
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero or MYOB
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team approach
  • Professional, customer-focused, and reliable
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
