Premium Australian wine producer/spirits distributor
- Utilise your trade contacts to drive brand growth
- Work with existing customers and drive new business
- Our client is an Australian based wine producer with its own vineyards in key wine regions and the portfolio includes some fabulous imported spirits. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated sales professional to join their dynamic team and help grow distribution. The focus will be on delivering consistent and profitable sales growth in on and off premise channels by developing and implementing effective activations, identifying and converting new customers and growing brand awareness.
- Key responsibilities include:
- building strong relationships with existing and new customers
- educating customers and growing brand awareness to deliver sales growth
- working with trade marketing to develop appropriate customer initiatives and events
- developing and maintaining a structured monthly call cycle utilising the CRM for information sharing, sales and activity reporting
- contributing to sales forecasting and business planning processes
- driving presence and sales of award winning wines in key venues
- achieving the required product mix targets, weighted towards premium wines
- targeting hero venues who will champion the companies premium wines
This is a terrific opportunity if you are passionate about wine, can demonstrate commercial thinking and a desire to drive sales outcomes. A strong communicator, you are highly organised with a performance oriented mindset. A can do attitude combined with your understanding of the liquor industry, will ensure success in the role.
