Epping, Australia | Posted on 08/20/2025Tosupport, challenge, and partner with the Finance team and to develop anddeliver high performance Finance objectives across the business.Principal Accountabilities (Accounting Duties):Bank reconciliationsCredit card reconciliationsBalance sheet reconciliationsincluding prepayments, accruals and depositsManagement of intercompany loanaccountsFixed asset registermaintenance including calculating gain / loss on disposal of assetsCompliance work such aspreparation of BAS and FBT returnsGeneral journals, recurringjournals, and depreciation journalsReconciliation of payables,receivables and stock sub-ledgersCalculate monthly andvolume-incentive rebates for customersCashflow management for bothAU/NZ entitiesCreate and design new balancesheet schedules where identified / requiredAssist CFO with Profit &Loss queries for preparation of month-end reportsAssist CFO in preparation ofbudgetsAssist with year-end auditsAssist CFO and other seniorpersonnel with reporting and analysis when requiredPrincipal Accountabilities (Accounts Receivable):Responsible for the generaldebt collection as set out in the Company Credit PolicyResponsible for the receipt andaccurate allocation of all account receivablesResponsible for promptlyprocessing all new account applicationsResponsible to ensure that allaccounts are covered by the company insurance policy and advise management ofany debtors that are not protectedManage the accurate and timelyentering and updating of customer price rules as required by sales staffManagement of the pricing andprice rules of all products on promotion or specialResponsible for the filing andarchiving of all relevant customer documents and recordsPrincipal Accountabilities (Accounts Payable):Processing of supplier invoicesin applicable systemProcess monthly payment runProcess payments to customs andoverseas suppliersCreation and management ofcreditor accountsCreate deposit entries onpurchase orders when overseas payments are madeOther:Manage and maintain thecompany's ERP system (NetSuite)Support the management team onother business projects as requiredCarryout any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilitieswhenever reasonably instructedRequirementsMust have prior NetSuite working experience (minimum 2years)Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounting roledelivering month end and related reportingAdvanced skills in Microsoft ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skills withan ability to communicate with key stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to manage conflicting tasks tomeet deadlinesSelf-motivated with strong attention to detailAbility to work autonomously and within a teamAdaptabilityskillsStronginterpersonal, communication and presentation skillsCriticalthinking and problem-solving skillsDemonstratedorganisational and planning skillsAbility to identifyopportunities for continuous improvement and innovationsMonday to Friday - no weekends or night work
