**About the role**

This pivotal leadership role involves understanding Origin's recruitment needs, crafting strategies, and ensuring effective talent acquisition to support Origin's expansion. Based in Melbourne, you will represent Origin to the market, leading the talent function by sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent.

Reporting to the Head of People Connect, you will partner across departments and with agencies and suppliers to drive successful recruitment outcomes. Additionally, you will work with senior leaders to develop and implement projects that establish an efficient recruitment services model. This role requires versatile leadership, embodying an inclusive global leader mindset, influencing insights-driven decision-making, resilience, and the ability to achieve timely results.

**Key responsibilities**
- Collaborate closely with leadership to understand current and future staffing needs.
- Developing and executing recruitment strategies aligned with organisational objectives, tracking metrics, analysing data, and generating reports to gauge effectiveness.
- Foster engagement with hiring managers and cultivate vital relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and design EVP, enhancing employer branding prominence and campaigns.
- Establish effective and efficient governance and tools across the function.
- Maintain supplier performance standards.
- Adapt to evolving landscapes, while staying up to date on industry trends.

**What will you bring?**

You will be passionate about talent, with empathetic people leadership skills, and experienced in building and leading high-performing teams. You will excel in coaching, mentoring, and fostering a positive culture. Customer service will be one of your many strengths. Additionally, you will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and influencing skills. You will also be able to demonstrate.
- Experience in leading a geographically dispersed talent acquisition team, within a large organisation and matrix environment.
- Adaptability to changing environments guiding teams through business and organisational changes.
- Tech-savvy with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems. Including proficiency in HR systems like SuccessFactors and Service Now.
- High ethical standards and integrity in recruitment activities.
- Proactive in staying updated on talent acquisition trends and best practices.
- Tertiary qualifications or certifications in HR with significant Talent Acquisition experience.
