This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented Administration Assistant to join a highly regarded and sought after mid tier law firm to support their HR team.
Reporting directly to a delightful HR Manager and as a key member of the HR Team, some of your key responsibilities will include;
- General administrative assistance for the HR Team, including but not limited to, completion of file notes, updating spreadsheets, scheduling meetings and scanning of documents etc.
- preparing letters of offer and employee contracts
- maintaining employee files and updating on database
- assisting with new starter processes and preparing induction starter packs
- Facilitation of firm wide new starter inductions, including presenting to new starters, and scheduling all sessions and training.
- Management of the firm’s leave and timesheet approval processes
- Support for the firm’s Learning & Development function. This includes, however is not limited to, scheduling of training, learning management system maintenance and administration etc.
- Management of Practising Certificates, Legal Services Board and Law Institute of Victoria renewals & memberships.
- Coordination of Staff Recognition Awards, Club memberships and other Firm events, including but not limited to, Fun Runs etc.
- assisting with recruitment and HR projects
- arranging meetings, travel and internal training sessions
**To be considered...**
You will also be highly organised, have advanced MS Office/typing skills and strong attention to detail.
- 1-3 years experience as a HR Assistant/Administration Assistant gained within a leading professional services firm is a MUST
- Excellent communication skills at all levels and a strong client service focus
- Strong 'hands on' experience with the ability to motivate and influence others
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- 'Team player' ethos and have a high levels of discretion, integrity and commitment to the company's standards
- Initiative and a proactive approach
