We are now looking for a proactive, and eager entry level HR Administrator or Graduate to join our national business. This position will be Melbourne-based with the flexibility to work from the office and home (after an initial period of training).
Reporting to our Senior HR Advisor, this role will form an integral part of the HR team, assisting to service business leaders and HR Business Partners with all basic and administrative HR enquiries.
Ideally you will have a qualification majoring in Human Resources, or 6-12 months previous experience in a similar role. This role is perfect for someone who is at the start of their HR career and wanting to gain experience in a large, fast-paced organisation.
As a key part of our HR Helpdesk team, you will attend to administrative HR tasks and providing base-level advice on all parts of the employee lifecycle. With the support of your team, day to day duties will include:
- Monitoring and attending to queries within the HR inbox in a timely manner
- Generating and issuing employment contracts or letters of variation
- Maintaining digital employee records and update databases
- Liaising with key internal stakeholders, including HR Business Partners and Payroll
- Providing basic HR advice on entitlements, employee benefits and policies
- Monitoring the HR helpline to provide on the spot assistance
- Supporting with annual HR processes
- Ad-hoc project work to support the wider team
- Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes

- A HR graduate or nearing the end of your HR studies
- Naturally passionate about customer service
- Demonstrate a high level attention to detail
- Willing and eager to learn and ask questions
- Strong with Microsoft Word and Excel
- An energetic and professional communicator able to build strong relationships with colleagues and internal clients
